Plant Adaptations
As you can see in Image 4 one of the adaptations plants in this environment have taken is that they grow close together and very close to ground making it easier for them to tolerate cold temperatures. Specifically flowers they point towards the sun and use their petals so that the sun rays go directly at them like the one in Image 6. Another adaptation is that some plants are dark in color so they can absorb heat faster. Plants have "fuz" around its stem which is another adaptation to the cold temperatures of the arctic tundra referred to in Image 5.
